Quantro

About

Make UK tax fully visible.

Quantro pulls every allowance, threshold and relief in the UK tax system into one ledger, then shows the gap between where things stand and where the rules quietly point.

The mission

Most UK households leave thousands of pounds on the table every tax year. It is rarely because the rules are hidden. The Personal Allowance, the £20,000 ISA allowance, the £60,000 pension annual allowance, the £252 marriage allowance, Gift Aid, the £3,000 capital-gains exemption, the spousal CGT split, the residence nil-rate band, the savings starting rate. None of these are obscure. They are the building blocks of the British tax system.

They are just scattered across about twenty different official sources, none of which talk to each other. The household that uses every relevant one keeps thousands more per year than the household that misses half of them, and the difference compounds across a working life into life-changing sums.

Quantro’s mission is to close that gap. One place to see your whole financial picture against the live UK rule set, with the unused allowances and the cost of leaving them unused both visible at a glance.

What it does

Enter your situation once: income, pension, ISA, partner, property, debts. Quantro models it against UK 2025/26 rules and surfaces:

  • Where you sit in the income-tax and NI bands.
  • Which allowances you have used this year and which are unused.
  • Tactics that apply to your situation, with the £ figure each one is worth.
  • Long-run projections so the cost of doing nothing is something you can see, not just imagine.

Who it’s for

Anyone in the UK paying income tax, holding savings, or thinking about a pension. The bigger the pile of allowances available to you, the more Quantro is worth: higher earners (£50,000+), property owners, dual-income households, and anyone approaching a major life event such as selling property, retirement, or an inheritance.

Quantro doesn’t replace a qualified accountant or financial adviser for the genuinely bespoke work. It is the layer underneath: making sure the basics, the allowances, and the well-known tactics that apply to most people are fully captured before more complex advice gets layered on top.

How your data is handled

Every figure stays in your account. Quantro doesn’t sell data, runs no advertising, and doesn’t share with third parties. Sensitive credentials get a second layer of encryption on top of the database’s default. The full posture is on the Security and Privacy pages.

Not financial advice

Quantro is illustrative software. It models UK tax mechanics; it does not tell anyone what to do. For decisions about specific circumstances, talk to a qualified financial adviser or accountant. Tax rules change, and Quantro’s figures are projections based on current published HMRC rates.

Who built this

Built in the UK by an independent founder. Quantro is funded by its users, not by ads or data sales. If something is broken or missing, email support@quantro.one or use the in-app feedback button.
